What OG stands for remains unclear, some say it stands for Original Gangster, others say it stands for Ocean Grown. OG Kush was first created in California and has grown into one of the most popular and loved cannabis strains in the world. Every smoker that has tried the OG Kush likes her because of the strong effect it has on their body. OG Kush is an Indica-dominant strain, which immediately affects the body.
She is a strong, bushy plant with an abundance of buds and doesn’t need much nutrition or water, but she can be difficult to grow for the inexperienced grower. She grows best in a controlled environment (indoors).
The main advantage of OG Kush is its taste, which is almost cigar-like. The plant has a bright green color with orange/ yellow buds. She has big leaves and a strong stalk.
Her genetics are 75% Indica and 25% Sativa. The indoor yield should be around 425-475 grams per square meter when grown in a scrog. When grown outdoors her yield should be about 500-550 grams per plant, and her height will be around 180-220 cm. Plant outside in early summer and harvest in early/late October. Her outdoor flowering period is around 8 to 9 weeks.
